Canvas tents – also called wall tents, outfitter tents, or hunting tents – are a specialty of ours at Davis Tent and Awning.
We have been manufacturing quality wall tents and horse packing equipment in Colorado since 1955. We enjoy a hard earned reputation for making the most durable tents and related gear for outfitters and hunters alike.
Our many years of manufacturing tents and hunting elk here in Colorado have helped us to determine the key features needed to make quality outdoor tents and gear. So whether you call it a canvas tent, wall tent, hunting tent or outfitter tent you can rest assured because we have been making tents and other canvas related products to the highest of standards for over 50 years.

Cook Shack
From: $550.00The regularly requested cook shack comes standard with two zippered canvas doors and the 5.5" stove jack. Match your existing Wall Tent's width and enjoy some extra space in camp. A Cook Shack can be used butted up against your existing wall tent as shown in the video below, or setup as a stand alone tent that is 100% fully functional. These tents will finish in between 9' 6" and 10' 0" long. Please select your specific tent options below, and don't forget to add a 9 Piece Angle Kit or Traditional Poles to support your tent from the link at the bottom of the page. This is a two-man tent with a 5.5" Stove Jack and you can select either the Traditional Pole System or the Internal Angle Kit (we will provide you a cut list to cut your own poles). The Go Tent can also serve as a 3 person tent when a stove is not in use. This tent comes in 10oz natural color canvas. Rivers Bend Stove
From: $399.00We designed this stove to be the perfect match for our Go Tent and is also a great stove for horse packing. It's a powerful heater that takes up less room than our traditional stoves. The stove is made out of thick 1/8” steel so it will hold the heat well and last for many seasons of use. It has coil handles so the door can be opened and closed without having to wear gloves. It is designed to be used with 5” nesting stove pipe (order stove pipe, spark arrestor, and damper by checking the complete stove package box below) commonly used with wall tents. The legs easily remove for easy storage and transportation.

Sawbuck Pack Saddle
From: $299.00This Sawbuck pack saddle come with 1-1/4" Straps, 3/4" Spyder, canvas breast strap and breeching, adjustable straps, latigo mounted to humane horse tree. This saddle fits both large and small pack animals; this makes for great versatility if you're going to be using more than one pack animal or will be switching animals frequently. Comes double rigged (2 cinches). This is the saddle we recommend if you're changing animals frequently. We also offer a Decker Pack Saddle to custom fit any high weathered or barrel chested animal. -

Secure Stakes
$3.00Our high wind package Secure Stake is perfect when you need your stakes to really bite into the dirt. They include a lip at the top so your guy lines will not slip off your stakes. Field testing has shown us that guy lines stay tighter longer because the Secure Stake stays stable even under high wind conditions. And, if your tent is sometimes unattended for a full day or longer, Secure Stakes are a must. -

Leather End Pannier

Top Pack
$61.00Top packs are a great place to haul "fluff" keeps everything together - and accessible. works with several models of our panniers (but not all) so check for compatibility. The panniers need to have the d-rings sewn in at the sided for the top pack straps. Or you can use the top pack with any pannier if you are using a lash rope. 2 foot wide x 3 foot long x 10 inches tall. You can add this to the Weekender With D-Rings to create the Saddle Pannier/Top Pack Combo. -
