Whether you’re going on an hour long horseback ride, a two week guided elk hunt, or are a professional outfitter, having good gear is a must. There’s nothing worse than having to cut a trip short due to equipment failure.
At Davis Tent, we take painstaking measures to ensure that doesn’t happen, this is true for everything we make from our canvas wall tents to our to our canvas meat bags. While no gear is indestructible on a horse gone wild, we feel ours is as close as it gets.
We feel confident you will agree, the construction in our pack gear is built on a common thread; function over form. All of our products are designed for use, not necessarily for looks. With durability and longevity in mind we mindfully reinforce our products.

Sawbuck Pack Saddle

Leather End Pannier

Top Pack
$61.00Top packs are a great place to haul "fluff" keeps everything together - and accessible. works with several models of our panniers (but not all) so check for compatibility. The panniers need to have the d-rings sewn in at the sided for the top pack straps. Or you can use the top pack with any pannier if you are using a lash rope. 2 foot wide x 3 foot long x 10 inches tall. You can add this to the Weekender With D-Rings to create the Saddle Pannier/Top Pack Combo. -
Weekender BL Saddle Pannier with or without Top Pack

Decker Pack Saddle
$675.00Built on a decker tree with improvements made to the saddle keep the pannier straps on without the need of decker hooks. Adjustments are made easy with the use of roller buckels instead of the traditional "conway" buckle. 1-1/4" rigging straps, 1" quarter straps, 3/4" spyder with four hip drops. The quarter straps keep the single cinch back and in place (away from front legs) excellent for top packing. Comes complete with half breed. -

Large Leather Rifle Scabbard

How to measure your rifle.  Measure starting at the end of the barrel to the bolt.  Once you have this measurement - type in the measurement in inches in the 'notes/comments' section in the shopping cart. We will be able to fit your scabbard to your rifle measurement as long as the range is between 31" to 41". -
