A sod cloth is a band of material 10″ – 15″ that is sewn in around the bottom of a tent. Its purpose is to create a seal to the ground. This is accomplished by placing sod on it (burying it) this will prevent wind and rain from entering the tent from the bottom. We use a vinyl so it is easier to clean and won’t freeze to the ground as quickly as canvas. Our sod cloth is designed to go to the inside so it will not freeze to the ground.

Will the new owner is fabulous. We have been customers with them for years and had some issues with... some repairs we needed and Will was so knowledgeable and helpful. Guided us through the work we needed done, suggested other options and gave us ideas on how better to erect our tents. Can't recommend Will enough - ask for him as he is a wealth of information!read more

Bought a 16x20 wall tent a few yeas back and absolutely love it! Myself and my buddies have had it... out countless time over the past 2 years on various hunting, camping and fishing trips and its holding up wonderfully! Dealing with the crew at Davis Tent was simple and easy. Email correspondence was quick and friendly as well. If I remember correctly, I believe they may have expedited the delivery due to an upcoming hunting trip that season and they took I upon themselves to get it to me before then! The quality is great all the way around and as long as you take care of the canvas it will last a lifetime! We also got the mildew and flame resistant treatment on the canvas. We take care to keep it clean and dry and we have no issues at all!Thank you to the team at Davis!read more

Highly recommend Davis. High quality canvass, tough stitching that takes the wind. I only wish I... had ordered 2 more windows for increased ventilationread more
